LIVING LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW...

Project management, marketing, artist
management & strategy

Artist and project management, digital marketing for Laurence Guy. An electronic music producer with over 60 million streams, released his second studio album ‘Living Like There’s No Tomorrow, But Killing Yourself In The Process’, and debuted a new live show which sold out the East London Night Tales Loft.

I worked with Starling Works management and The Orchard (Sony Music), building a digital communication strategy, conceptualisation and implementation of the marketing campaign.

I had been working with Laurence Guy and his management for a couple of years by now. Building a content strategy around the album campaign that felt true to Laurence’s voice felt second nature. To build his audience following and engagement, we conceptualised the series “Record Digs” where Laurence shares weekly a record from his collection. This was in line with his creative vision and also allowed fans to get a deeper insight into his artistic persona. Sampling records has always been a huge part of his creative process and visiting charity shops or record shops has been an activity Laurence engages with most outside of bouldering and making music.

We commissioned award-winning creative Superglow for the videos, and All Stripes (same as Arlo Parks) for the PR.

Press highlights include CLASH, Notion & more.

The narrative of the record is inspired by what Guy calls “the push and pull between hedonism and the fog of the morning after”.
